With so many Catholic schools in our area, my husband and I had a hard decision to make when our now Freshman in college was starting Kindergarten. Having had nephews and good friends who enjoyed their Blessed Sacrament experience, our decision became somewhat easier. After visiting Irene Nowland’s Kindergarten classroom, we decided there was no other place to send our children. What a blessing for our family! We currently have 3 children (7th, 4th , and Kindergarten) attending BSPS and one boy (Sophomore) at St. Augustine High School.
We are so impressed with all of the teachers that our boys have had the privilege of knowing and being instructed by each year. The staff at BSPS, starting with Tee at the top, truly care about all of the kids and their welfare. We send our kids to BSPS because it provides a solid foundation for what is most important in life, a life filled with knowing and serving Our Lord. BSPS provides a true Christian environment based in the true Catholic faith.

In 2003, my wife and I had our two children in a local Catholic School. That organization’s educational philosophy had dramatically changed, and we were searching for another school.
Blessed Sacrament Parish School was one of the top schools out of several that we researched. Mr. Trunzo and Ms. Furtado called us for a brief “Meet & Greet” session. We met and instantly felt welcomed; we were impressed by the school’s family atmosphere, rigorous curriculum and strong tie to the parish. We enrolled our children for the 2004/5 school year. Both children were well prepared for high school. Although our children successfully promoted from 8th grade to high school several years ago, we remain very active in the schools’ activities and are very supportive of the its continued success.

We have been a part of the BSPS community since 1996. All of the staff at BSPS has collectively contributed to the success of our sons who went on to St. Augustine and now Gonzaga University and our daughter who is attending Our Lady of Peace.
The BSPS staff worked with us in a commitment to raise our children in the faith of the Catholic church, while challenging them academically and preparing them to move on the high school of their choice.

Numerous relatives have attended and graduated from Blessed Sacrament and I knew years before having school-age children that thy too would attend the school. I have had cousins graduate from this school. We choose BSPS because of our faith first and we believe the teachers are great at what they do and care for our children as their own. Many members of the faculty have been there for many years and are awesome to work with. It’s such a bonus to have the school be a close and fun community.

My family was fortunate enough to discover Blessed Sacrament School and Parish community more than 20 years ago. As a graduate of the school, I was instilled with faith and educational values that have a continued to in&uence in my life. As a parent, I find those traditions and ideals endure as they have since the school’s inception, and trust my children will benefit as I have from their experiences at Blessed Sacrament.
